Blogger static front page
Update:
It is no longer possible to create a pseudo-static front page on BlogSpot by assigning a date in the future to a post. In May 2008, Blogger introduced Scheduled Posts. Now, future-dated posts will not be published until the date assigned to them.
WordPress blogs have static pages as a standard feature.
One of them can be configured as the front page:
An automated process exists to import all posts & comments from your current BlogSpot blog into WordPress:
Wordpress.com is supported by advertising. A self-hosted WP blog is preferable. For more information about the differences between the two systems see below:
